1. The Client

Numbase LLC created HereYouGo as an eco-friendly digital business card mobile platform available on iOS and Android . The app replaces wasteful paper business cards by empowering professionals to exchange contact details instantly through personal QR codes, direct links, dynamic card web pages, and a location-aware proximity networking engine .

2. My Role

Product Designer (End-to-End Execution) — I owned the complete product design lifecycle: user research, UX flow mapping, dark-mode visual UI execution, Figma component system creation, proximity networking UI architecture, interactive prototyping, usability testing, and front-end engineering handoff.

3. Problem Statement

Traditional paper business cards fail modern professionals during live events and daily networking :

4. Research & Discovery

Through user interviews with event attendees and sales executives, three core insights emerged: sharing contact details must take under 3 seconds without app-download friction for recipients, users want real-time analytics to measure networking effectiveness, and conference goers need a fast way to discover "People Nearby" in crowded venues without manually typing names .

Engineered for high visibility in low-light networking environments and bright outdoors, the visual system uses an ultra-dark background palette (#0A0A0A and #1E1E1E) paired with a high-visibility neon electric green (#12CC00) for primary action buttons, online status dots, and conversion metrics . Typography is powered by Space Grotesk for bold structural headers and Inter for dense, high-legibility contact metadata .

7. Design Solution

The final application features a high-impact dashboard with single-tap QR sharing ("Scan to save my card"), a real-time proximity list ("People Nearby" displaying real-time distance metrics like 12m away), a self-service digital card customization suite, and a conversion analytics tab ("23 new profile views (+12% this week)") .

Usability testing with 10 event attendees revealed that users needed immediate confirmation when another person successfully saved their card. I introduced quick visual feedback tiles (Visitors: 23, Saves: 46, Views: 128) directly on the Home dashboard, giving users instant gratification during live networking .
